F3D Warranty for Cold Wall Leaks

1. Original Manufacturing Warranty

In year 1 and 2 all shipping cost and customs duties are included in the warranty.

The Warranty period for replacement unit is 90 days or original period of bad unit, if longer.

2. Customer Options For Operating Years 3 to 6

2.a. Complete Machine Replacement

This option has the advantage of getting a new unit. If the customer participates in this program starting with the 4th year, the unit will have the same warranty as a new unit.

Beginning with year 3 all shipping cost and customs duties are charged to the customer.

Warranty period for replacement unit 2 years parts and labour, 3rd to 5th year compressor part.

2.b. Replacement Of The Freezer Cabinet Only

This option will be performed at no cost to the franchisee. The process is as follows: The franchisee, upon confirmation of a cold wall leak by a refrigeration service technician, would contact H+K and H+K would send a replacement unit to the store. (with Franke Fry’s approval) The service tech swapping the unit will use the packaging of the replacement unit to ship the unit with the cold wall leak back to H+K for refurbishing. H+K will replace the freezer cabinet and put the unit back into stock for future replacement of a cold wall leak.

Warranty for freezer cabinet 2 years parts and labour for refrigerant leak inside the cabinet walls.
