4. CO2 Detector – Installed by authorized CO2 installer 5. Deliver box marked “Plumber’s Attention” to plumbing contractor. 6. If re-circulating system has remote cooled condenser the refrigeration contractor will run but not connect pre-charged refrigeration lines. Beverage installer will hook up to the remote refrigeration system. The addition of refrigerant must be performed by Beverage installer. • If ABS and another Beverage installer are starting up ABS, the recirculation system Beverage installer must run but not connect the ambient bundle for syrups. • If ABS with re-circulating system, recirculation unit Beverage installer must run and connect all re-circulating line bundles including those for water and soda for the ABS, and start up and calibrate all except ABS. ▪ • ABS Beverage installer attaches the flavor line up sheet to the front of the unit, for use by the POS vendor when programming the system. 7. Make all final water and syrup connection on all dispensing towers. 8. Start-up and calibrate beverage system and dispensing towers. 9. Supply owner operator flavor map information to program POS for Automated Beverage System (ABS). Plumbing Contractor 1. Connect building water supply to rear room equipment package. 2. Route and connect drain line for beverage stations, including ABS and Crew serve Station or 2nd ABS behind counter. 3. If required by local codes, supply and install backflow preventers to center island equipment, the presenter’s booth equipment and the bun steamer, prior to final hook up by beverage installer. Electrical Contractor 1. Final electrical connection to rear equipment package. 2. Complete final hook up of electrical power including ABS and crew serve station or 2nd ABS behind counter and ABS stations. Refrigeration Contractor 1. Pull pre-charged refrigeration lines to remote condenser and ice machine communication wiring per manufacturer specifications. Do not connect the lines. Connection will be made by beverage installer. Owner Operator 1. Ensure that CO2 and syrup are in the store at completion of the drink system installation so that the system can be tested. 2. If final connections were not possible during installation week, arrange for start-up of beverage system FASC. 3. Program POS system per flavor map provided by beverage installer for ABS. • The ABS Beverage installer will connect the ambient syrup bundle at both ends. • The ABS Beverage installer will schedule and perform a crew training session.
