EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION GUIDE
Ketchup Dispensers
KES Installer 1. Unpack and set in position.
Beverage Installer 1. Run and connect approved CO2 line from back room. 2. Make final connection.
Owner Operator 1. Ensure product is available for start-ups and training.
Bulk Syrup and CO2 Tanks
General Contractor 1. Installs CO2 fill box. 2. Unpack and set in position. 3. Install syrup, CO2 gas tanks and CIP panel.
Owner Operator 1. Arrange purchase and delivery of syrup and CO2 gas tanks. 2. Ensure product is available. Beverage Installer 1. Run and connect approved CO2 and syrup line from back room. 2. Make final connection. 3. Install bulk CIP, syrup and CO2 tanks to manufacturer’s specification.
Energy Management System
General Contractor 1. Verify all RTU’s are in place, high and low voltage wire runs for EMS system.
2. Lighting circuits MUST be completed for kitchen, dining, building exterior lights, signs and lot poles. All load wiring for the following must be ran through a junction box above Panel LP1. Emergency lights will not be controlled by EMS system. 3. Notify EMS Installer if electrical schedule or HVAC plan has been altered from the provided Electrical & Mechanical drawing plans. 4. Permanent power needs to be connected and all buy out startups need to be completed before scheduling EMS installer. HVAC Contractor 1. Install all HVAC systems per manufacture instructions. 2. Install humidity sensors as called out in the building HVAC plans. 3. Make final connections with thermostat wire to RTU controls. RTU MUST be placed into thermostatic control for EMS Installer. Electrical Contractor 1. Run and make final connection of high and low voltage wiring for equipment outside of EMS installers scope. 2. Run thermostat wiring for all RTU’s and remote sensors. 3. Install junction box above LP1 and run all load wiring for the following lighting circuits: kitchen, dining, building exterior lights, signs and lot poles. Emergency lights will not be controlled by EMS system. 4. Provide 1 e-phase 20amp breaker in Panel AP-4 (or see electrical schedule) to power control box. 5. Provide 1 single phase 20 amp breaker in LP1 to power EMS lighting control panel.
