EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION GUIDE
EMS Installer 1. Mount Lighting Control Panel above ceiling above Panel LP1. 2. Install Control Box above ceiling near Main Distribution Panel.
3. Wire the kitchen, dining, building exterior lights, signs and lot pole circuits from EC installed junction box to control via EMS Lighting control. Emergency lights will not be controlled by EMS System. 4. Mount and make final connection to EMS thermostat per HVAC Duct Plan. 5. Mount remote temperature sensors per HVAC duct plan. 6. Install supply temperature sensors 7. Install outdoor temperature sensor and photocell. 8. Install and connect CT’s per manufactures instructions. 9. Complete wiring between lighting control panel, thermostats and Control Box. 10.Mount User Interface panel as directed. 11. Mount communication hub and establish communications. 12. Perform EMS check out documentation. 13. Set permanent HVAC set points, HVAC schedules and lighting schedules. 14.Training restaurant operations on proper operations of EMS system. 15. If applicable, install temperature monitoring system (TMS) into appropriate refrigeration units. Final Operator / Installer Meeting At the end of the installation, the operator or area supervisor is to meet with the installer for a final inventory and review. All items shorted, damaged, or inoperative must be noted on final inspection / installation report. Additional return visits after final installation inspection at the cost of the owner operator. KES Installer 1. Provide a complete list of equipment supplier’s addresses, telephone numbers, and names of people to contact if service or warranty work is required. 2. Provide a complete list of local sub-contractors, addresses, and telephone numbers; i.e., drink system, refrigeration installer, ice machine, Taylor, etc. Owner Operator 1. Fill out and complete all warranty papers and return them to the original manufacturer. Failure to do so can void the warranty. 2. Sign off installation completion report and release installer. 3. Should utilities not be available at completion of the installation and release of the installer it then becomes the responsibility of the owner operator or McOpCo to contact all the equipment start-up agencies. 16. Verify eBoxx is communicating with Smart equipment. 17. Verify operations and configuration of all equipment.
