Please inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery for any missing or damaged equipment. Items that are damaged should be refused upon inspection. Any shortages or damages must be reported to H+K within 24 hours. Please contact us at 1-800-521-3987 or Chicago.customerservice@hki.com as soon as possible to ensure a timely resolution. Returning Merchandise Goods must be returned to us within 30 days of original purchase. If you wish to return goods to us for credit, we will be happy to accept them under the following conditions: number from one of our Customer Service Representatives. You will be asked to provide the H+K part numbers and descriptions for the item(s) you wish to return. You may be asked to provide the order/invoice number that the items were purchased under. • Goods must be returned in their original box unused, undamaged, and in resellable condition with the RMA number prominently displayed on the outside of the box. Any package that does not display the RMA number on the outside of the carton will be refused and returned to the customer at their expense. (For defective items, please see our Warranty Section.) • A restocking fee of up to 20% of the price could be applicable. • “Special order”, non-stocking items may not be returned. • We do not accept C.O.D. or “Freight Collect” shipments. All packages must be shipped prepaid to H+K International. H+K is not liable for loss, damages, repairs, or expenses arising from the misuse or improper installation of it’s products by unauthorized parties. This warranty covers all H+K manufactured products unless otherwise indicated on the purchase agreement. Component items such as switches, motors, controls or other components which H+K does not directly manufacture, are warrantied only to the extent of the original manufacturer's warranty. Should you have a problem with an H+K manufactured item, please contact us so we can assist you, or direct you to the nearest H+K service company. If not repaired, the defective item must then be returned to H+K International freight prepaid with the RMA number clearly displayed on the outside of the shipping container. Upon receipt of the merchandise, and confirmation of the defect, H+K International will issue a credit to you for the cost of the defective item, plus freight. Please note that some items may be subject to inspection by the manufacturer to eliminate the possibility of improper handling, misuse, or improper installation. Equipment Warranty All equipment (finished goods) are warranted by H+K International to be free of defects in materials or workmanship at time of delivery only. After the item has been received and put into use, the Manufacturer's Warranty goes into effect. Contact the Manufacturer's authorized Service Center in your area for problem resolution. H+K International can assist you in identifying the Service Center that is most convenient for you. If an item fails to work right out of the box, contact H+K International. We will help coordinate resolution of the problem with the manufacturer.
