Warranty Part Process & Photos The service agent is required to hold the parts for 90 days of repair completion date as they may be requested to be returned for testing by the manufacturer. Photo/Video Evidence Required for Warranty Claims To assist in warranty validation, photo/video evidence is required for faults such as before (the fault, condition of equipment) and after service, refrigerant, air or CO2 leaks, items on equipment missing, damaged or other instances where part/s are not required and/or replaced, and a photo/video must be supplied to assist with warranty validation. • A clear photo/video of the faulty part/s is required to be submitted with the warranty claim. • Photo of the serial number plate or the version info screen • Photo of the software screen • Lower blender shaft count photo if claiming lower blender shaft Technicians Paperwork • Please be specific about the fault, diagnosis, and works completed to repair the unit. • Lower blender shaft count if claiming lower blender shaft • The engineer sign- in & out must be completed in eTech and noted on service agent’s invoice. • Example: If the machine is not making consistent drinks and calibration doesn’t fix it and you need to perform a factory re-set, then a re-calibration, please explain this detail on the service agent invoice. The more information provided, the easier it will be for the manufacturer to analyze the data and assist in long-term solutions. • Additional expenses including without limitation, travel time (over 160km or 2 hours), material/sundries cost, accessing or removal of the machine, or shipping/freight are the responsibility of the Owner, along with all maintenance, adjustments, cleaning, and ice supply or other purchases. This warranty shall not apply to: • Any part or assembly that has been altered, modified, or changed. • Repair or replacement of parts or assemblies required because of misuse, abuse, improper care or storage, negligence, alteration, accident, use of incompatible supplies or lack of specified maintenance. • Normal maintenance items, including but not limited to, light bulbs, fuses, containers, gaskets, product stickers used in the unit, O-rings, interior and exterior finishes, grates, lubrication/sundries, de liming/cleaning, broken glass, etc. • Improper or unauthorized repair. • Failures caused by improper or erratic voltages. • Any parts subject to damage beyond the control of Multiplex, or to equipment which has been subject to alteration, misuse or improper installation, accidents, damage in shipment, fire, floods, power changes, other hazards or acts of God that are beyond the control of Multiplex. • Any machine that has been installed and/or maintained inconsistent with the technical instructions provided by the Multiplex. • Any machine initially installed more than five years from the serial number production date. • Any products or equipment manufactured or sold by Multiplex when such products or commercial equipment is installed or used in a residential or non-commercial application. Installations not within the applicable building or fire codes render this Limited Warranty and any responsibility or obligations associated therein null and void. This includes any damage, costs or legal actions resulting from the installation of any Multiplex equipment in a non-commercial application or installation, where the equipment is being used for applications other than those approved for by Multiplex. • Any product cleaned without using an approved Multiplex cleaning solution shall void this Limited Warranty. • This warranty shall not apply if the Machine’s refrigeration system is modified with a condenser, heat reclaim device, or parts and assemblies other than those manufactured by the Multiplex, unless the Multiplex approves these modifications for specific locations in writing. Warranty Exclusions Refer to “General Exclusions” at the beginning of this document. • Routine adjustments and maintenance procedures are not covered by the warranty. • After-hours labour fees will only be approved at normal rates.
