EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION GUIDE
Stockroom Shelving Denstor or H+K mobile stockroom shelving is a needed component to the KES installation. These shelving units are used to store and sort parts during the kitchen equipment delivery. Shelving must be installed complete prior to equipment arrival. Installation of the shelving is handled by Denstor or the KES Installer. It is the responsibility of the general contractor (GC) to receive, accept and unload the shelving system. The GC will inspect for damage and store on site. If there is any damage to the shelving, the GC must annotate damage on the bill of lading (shipping ticket) prior to accepting delivery, and will notify the ACM. The ACM will notify Denstor or the KES that damage was present. Denstor will be responsible to file all claims for damage with their shipping contractor. The GC is responsible for safe storage and protection of the shelving until the installer arrives. On site storage must follow manufacturer’s instructions and procedures to avoid damage Trash Removal The installer is to remove all packing material or other trash as it is accumulated by the equipment installation. The trash is to be placed in a container or area designated by the general contractor and removed from the premises by the general contractor.
